The opening ceremony will take place on July 5, 2025, at the Malta Regatta Course in Poznań, marking a true celebration of youth sports. This event is organized by the Organizing Committee appointed by the Board of the Greater Poland Voivodeship, which has already begun preparations for the Olympics.
Most of the disciplines will be held in Poznań, a city that offers excellent conditions for competition. Planned events include canoeing, rowing, swimming, rugby, field hockey, and athletics. Athletes will compete at various sports venues, such as the Termy Maltańskie and the Golęcin Stadium.
The Olympics will feature 28 disciplines and bring together over 6,000 participants, which entails significant organizational challenges, including accommodation, meals, and transportation for all athletes. Additionally, some events will take place outside of Greater Poland, such as slalom canoeing in Kraków and sailing in Puck Bay.
This event not only promotes sports among young people but also provides an opportunity for integration and the exchange of experiences between young athletes from different regions of Poland.
